Inter Milan will debut footwear company U-Power as their main shirt sponsor in this evening’s Serie A derby match against AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter have secured a new back shirt sponsor for this season.

At the end of last season, Inter entered into a short-term partnership with US-based streaming service Paramount+.

The streaming service was Inter’s main shirt sponsor for just the final two matches of the season.

One was an essentially dead rubber Serie A match against Torino. The other was, much more lucratively of course, the Champions League final.

As part of that agreement, Inter were to keep Paramount+’s logo on their shirts for this season as well.

However, the logo would be moved to the back of the shirt from the front.

The initial agreement was that Paramount+ would replace Lenovo as the back sponsor for Inter’s shirt.

But instead, over the summer, the Nerazzurri entered into a new agreement with Paramount+.

The streaming service has stayed on as Inter’s main shirt sponsor.

This has meant that the Nerazzurri have gone in search of a new back shirt sponsor.

Inter To Debut Back Shirt Sponsor U-Power In Derby Clash Vs AC Milan

The Nerazzurri’s new back shirt sponsor will be Italian footwear company U-Power. They have agreed the deal and according to the Gazzetta will debut the company’s logo on the backs of their shirts in this evening’s derby against Milan.

U-Power are already the main shirt sponsors of Inter’s Lombard rivals Monza.

The footwear company also bought the naming rights to the Brianzoli’s stadium. It is now known as the U-Power Stadium.

And now, Inter will also agree a commercial partnership of their own with U-Power. This will complete their shirt sponsorships for the 2023-24 season.
