Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will reportedly tinker with his starting lineup between now and the upcoming international break.
The 47-year-old came under heavy criticism for the heavy squad rotation applied in Wednesday’s Champions League encounter against Real Sociedad.
The manager made five changes to the starting lineup that demolished AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina by five goals to one.
However, many pundits blamed this rotation policy for the team’s uninspiring display at the San Sebastian Stadium.
The Spaniards had the upper hand from the get-go. Brais Mendez pounced on a blunder from Alessandro Bastoni to break the deadlock in the 4th minute.
Sociedad pushed for more, but Yann Sommer kept the Nerazzurri in the match. Eventually, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez came to the rescue with an 87th-minute equalizer.
But despite the uninspiring European display, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInterNews) still expects Inzaghi to rotate his ranks between now and the October international break.
As the source explains, the Beneamata have a relatively easy schedule on paper, which would allow the manager to tweak his lineups.

Inter will take on Empoli in this Sunday’s early Serie A kickoff. The Tuscans currently sit at the bottom of the table.
In midweek, they will host Sassuolo at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. The Emilians are also struggling at the moment.
Next weekend, they travel south for a meeting against Salernitana, before hosting Benfica in second matchday of the Champions League stage. This will certainly be the club’s sternest test in the coming weeks.
The Nerazzurri will then host Thiago Motta’s Bologna on October 7th. This will be the final fixture before the next international break.
