Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is reportedly further away from signing a contract renewal, opening the door for Inter Milan and Juventus to make their move.

The 29-year-old has been a stalwart at the Maradona Stadium since the summer of 2026. He won a Coppa Italia and, more famously, a Scudetto title during his time in Southern Italy. However, his contract will expire in June.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has yet to convince the Pole with a lucrative offer.

Therefore, the former Udinese and Empoli man is reportedly drifting away from the Partenopei.

So as the source tells it, Inter and Juventus are preparing to lunge forward and snatch the player’s services on a free transfer.

The Roman newspaper believes Zielinski is requesting a contract for three or four years, with a salary of 5 million euros per season.

We shall see if either the Nerazzurri or the Bianconeri would be willing to meet these figures.

The source also adds that Juventus Football director Cristiano Giuntoli is also keeping tabs on another Napoli midfielder in the shape of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

The Bianconeri official was the one who built the Napoli squad that went on to clinch the Scudetto last season. Therefore, Giuntoli could be looking to reunite with some of his old pupils in Turin.

For his part, Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta had always been synonymous with free transfer coups. Therefore, the 66-year-old will be looking to root the competition once more and secure the services of the Polish midfielder.
