Tajon Buchanan and Tomas Palacios will return to Inter Milan at the end of the season after underwhelming loan stints at Villarreal and Monza.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the reigning Scudetto holders are already seeking new clubs for both players.
It’s not been the second half of the season Tajon Buchanan had expected when he joined Villarreal in January.
Despite a bright start at La Ceramica, the 26-year-old has only made ten appearances in La Liga.
Therefore, the Yellow Submarine will hardly activate a buyout clause in their loan deal with Inter.
Inter Milan Search for New Clubs for Tajon Buchanan & Tomas Palacios
It’s hard to expect Villarreal to splash out north of €7 million to sign the Canada international after his stuttering form this term.
Though Buchanan’s short stint in Spain has been a total disaster, Tomas Palacios will want to forget his Monza experience.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has barely featured for Alessandro Nesta’s side despite their substantial struggles.
With Monza preparing for life in Serie B, the Argentine defender will return to base this summer.
However, his immediate first-team prospects at San Siro look bleak.
As such, Inter will try to send him out for another loan to gain more minutes.
