Lille have reportedly rivalled Galatasaray and Neom to sign Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard.
This according to French outlet Foot Mercato, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan signed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich two years ago. And while he has made a big impact, there is a feeling that his form suffered a definite drop-off last season.
Furthermore, the Frenchman will turn thirty next campaign.
Therefore, there is a nagging sense that this may be the right time for Inter to cash in.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are reportedly eyeing up a deal to sign Pavard. Big-spending Saudi Pro League club have also sounded out a move.
Lille Rival Galatasaray & Neom To Sign Benjamin Pavard

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Lille have also shown an interest in bringing Pavard back to the club.
The Frenchman has played for Lille in the past. Therefore, it would be a familiar environment.
Foot Mercato report that Neom’s wage offer was not high enough for Pavard.
However, Lille could try to tempt the 29-year-old with their sporting project, as they look to make a defensive signing for next season.
So the management did not plan to buy a CB to play in the place of Acerbi/de Vrij as we thought. Instead, they will buy a CB only if one between Pavard and Bisseck is sold.
I’m against this l, specially since the reported fee is just 18M. He’s miles better than bisseck and we paid 32M for Pavard
unless the management have some good backup in mind, sell him. we already lost big talents to other clubs and have small healthy group of defenders.
remember we let dzeko go and got taremi who was much younger hoping he could give better result than dzeko especially after him having good season in his old club, BUT it was arnautovic who scored more goals
