Inter Milan are still not planning to keep defender Tomas Palacios this summer despite the sale of Nicolas Zalewski.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews.
Inter Milan only signed Tomas Palacios last summer. However, in his first season at the club the Argentine simply never convinced.
Palacios spent the second half of last season on loan with Monza.
Meanwhile, it has long looked to be a matter of when rather than if Inter would offload the 23-year-old this summer transfer window.
Inter Not Planning To Keep Palacios Despite Zalewski Sale

In the meantime, however, Inter have agreed a deal to sell Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta.
The Polish international wingback departs despite having only joined on a permanent basis this summer.
That means that Carlos Augusto is likely to have more responsibilities in the team as a backup centre-back to Alessandro Bastoni.
Therefore, there could very well be a certain logic to keeping Palacios. This would give Bastoni more backup, and would free up Augusto for the wingback position with Zalewski gone.
Nevertheless, reports FCInterNews, Inter’s plans have not changed with regards to Palacios.
Why not move him to the U23 team for a season or two? This makes no sense
I have no idea how the two would be related. Either way, Palacios needs actual minutes this season so he can be assessed properly.
I think eather than pushing out Palacios, better put him on the bench for another one or 2 years, and let him show how he can contribute more for the team. After then we can decide wheter to keep or let him go. Since Nerazzuri also need more youngsters in the back
