Ivan Zazzaroni believes Inter Milan would find a way to increase their offer for Ademola Lookman to €52 million, but Atalanta “don’t want to sell.”
The Corriere dello Sport editor gave yet another update on what has become an endless transfer saga on Instagram.
Inter have been chasing Ademola Lookman for almost five weeks now.
The transfer saga between the Nerazzurri, the Nigerian international, and Atalanta has become the transfer soap opera of the summer in Serie A.
Inter Have made two offers for Lookman. First they bid €40 million. Then, they increased their offer to €45 million including add-ons.
And in the meantime, Lookman has tried to force Atalanta’s hand on a move.
The 27-year-old has publicly demanded a transfer. He has also been no-showing training for Atalanta since the start of August.
Zazzaroni: “Inter Would Increase Lookman Offer To €52M – Atalanta Don’t Want To Sell”

Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni is the person who first broke the news of Inter’s interest in signing Lookman last month.
The Corriere editor gave his verdict on the transfer saga at this stage.

“As I wrote this morning, it’s Percassi who’s not open to selling Lookman,” Zazzaroni writes.
“If he decides to sell him in due time, Marotta would find a way to offer €50-52 million.”
In the meantime, Inter have agreed a deal with Atalanta to sell Nicola Zalewski.
However, the talks for the Polish wingback’s transfer reportedly have not included Lookman in any way. Potentially a sign that Inter’s pursuit of Lookman is fading.
selama menjadi penggemar inter saya tdk pernah melihat inter mulus dlm bursa transfer pemain selalu ada masalah tapi kasus lookman yg paling parah, Aku rasa 52 juta uero harga yg pantas meskipun itu terlihat berlebihan karena faktor usia mengingat umur lookman 27 thn, kalaupun 52 juta uero Atalanta tdk melepasnya lebih baik pergi tinggalkan dan jgn lagi berbisnis dgn Atalanta lagi, satu lagi yg bikin saya kecewa kenapa zawliski di jual padahal pemain Polandia tersebut punya potensi yg bagus dan bisa berkembang lagi mungkin harga jualnya bisa melonjak menejemen inter memang parah kapan bisa membuat fans senang setiap di bursa transfer selalu banyak drama kalau boleh jjur inter terlalu pelit padahal secara finansial inter udah berkembang pesat, saya bilang begini bukan saya benci tapi ini rasa kecintaan saya terhadap Nerazzurri
Bring back Salvatore Esposito, cheap, around 10-15mil, our product, last two seasons massive improvement. Certainly would be better than Asllani, Mhiki, always injured Zielinski, and proper replacement for Hakan.
All in Kendry Paez
We are starting to really alienate our fan base, with this terrible mercato
Kone is crap
Lookman should have been done immediately
We should not be doing business with them the other way at all, and certainly for less than players worth.
We are actively trying to sell players that no-one wants, and others who will be replaced with more expensive and yet far worse…
A championship winning side has players like zielinski and Pavard in their squad to call on off the bench it is NOT filled with overhyped bang average udinese, Parma or serie B players
This team is gonna struggle to make top 4 as it stands, we are clearly in decline and have done nothing but get lucky with sucic, (who I fear won’t get enough time and leave in a year)
And add bench warmers in Bonny & Henrique
Disgraceful summer – management need to start being questioned by the ultras ASAP!!
Agree with nearly everything pal, though I do think Kone would be a good DM in a double pivot, and I do think Bonny has great potential…. Mercato on the whole has been an absolute shambles though!! Marotta has clearly had his day, and Ausilio is useless!!
with 52mil we can find many other options. Lets move on.
If 52M doesnt enough, then forget it.
It will be good if we can get Manu Kone to replace Asslani, and maybe other AM to replace Zalewski.
