Ademola Lookman has not been a part of talks between Inter Milan and Atalanta for Nicola Zalewski, but the negotiations aren’t yet dead.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews.
Inter have been chasing Ademola Lookman for almost five weeks now.
The transfer saga between the Nerazzurri, the Nigerian international, and Atalanta has become the transfer soap opera of the summer in Serie A.
Inter Have made two offers for Lookman. First they bid €40 million. Then, they increased their offer to €45 million including add-ons.
And in the meantime, Lookman has tried to force Atalanta’s hand on a move.
The 27-year-old has publicly demanded a transfer. He has also been no-showing training for Atalanta since the start of August.
Lookman Not Part Of Inter Atalanta Talks For Zalewski – But Negotiations Not Yet Dead

Meanwhile, Inter have agreed a deal to sell wingback Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta.
However, in spite of these quick negotiations, La Repubblica confirm that the two clubs did not discuss Lookman as part of the talks.
Nevertheless, the speedy negotiations did confirm that there remains a rapport between Inter and Atalanta.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are still keen to try and finally unlock talks for Lookman.
