Inter Milan are not yet done in the transfer market with a week to go, as they look to sign a defender and offload Mehdi Taremi.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908.
There is barely a week left to go in the summer transfer window.
Inter Milan have already had a relatively busy summer. They have signed four players – Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Andy Diouf.
Meanwhile, Inter also made Francesco Pio Esposito a part of their first team plans after two seasons out on loan with Spezia.
In the other direction, the Nerazzurri have managed to offload a few players.
Nicola Zalewski was sold to Atalanta for a significant profit. Meanwhile, Inter have found new clubs for the likes of Kristjan Asllani and Sebastiano Esposito, among others.
Inter Milan Not Done Yet – Defender In, Taremi Out

According to Sky Sport Italia, though, Inter have not yet finished their work in the transfer market this summer.
The broadcaster are still anticipating that the Nerazzurri will sign a defender.
Inter have missed out on key defensive targets such as Koni De Winter and Giovanni Leoni. However, that has not deterred them.
On the exit front, Sky report, Inter’s priority is to find a new club for striker Mehdi Taremi.
Morata will surprise us at the end of the market.
this is going to be a long season. watched como humiliate Lazio! if they can keep this up they will be genuine contenders for UCL spots. while we were busy chasing paz and then lookman, literally every other team has improved.
Relax. Our team has gotten better, and we’re yet to sign a defender and possibly another striker which will help a lot.
Sucic/Diouf > Asllani
Bonny/Pio > Arno/Correa
Henrique > Darmian
The rest of the team is finally rested.
Did we do major up grades, no, but we aren’t worse.
Finally, someone who speaks the facts.
I agree with everything you have written, we basically upgraded in every position that was flawed last year, if you look at depth.
The core stayed the same, Bastoni Barella Lautaro with DD and DiMa as wingbacks.
Only way is up!!
the “core” is the main issue, I think, especially if we, under this term”, think of the aging players such as Miki and Hakan, but also more than half of our defense, which has proven to be flawed, to say the least..
Dear Bob, i hear you but don’t think you understood what I was trying to say.
I reffered to mentioned players as a core.. with other players, whether “old” or upcoming young players that will help them .
In my opinion, Acerbi is the best CCB we have, despite his age. He is one of the best man markers when we play against teams with dangerous strikers ( Lukaku, Vlahovic, Haaland, Kane, Lewa…). With his goal against Barcelona, he should deserve some credit. Leadership and mentoring younger players is the other trait for him.
In modern football, especially in Italy, age shouldn’t be a factor at all, if you take care of your body and recuperation… just look at my nations hero Modrić. 😉
