The Sporting Director of Atalanta acknowledges that forward Ademola Lookman is training alone after the transfer soap opera with Inter Milan.
La Dea Sporting Director Tony D’Amico spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews. He called the situation with the Nigerian international “very unfortunate.”
The soap opera between Inter Milan and Ademola Lookman dominated the summer transfer window for several weeks.
The Nerazzurri made two offers for the Nigerian. They went as high as €45 million with their bid.
However, Atalanta rejected both offers from Inter.
Reportedly, La Dea wanted a higher fee for Lookman, and would not even give Inter a counteroffer.

Atalanta Sporting Director Tony D’Amico, meanwhile, gave an update on the situation with Loomkman.
