Inter Milan can spend about €20 million more before the end of the transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri have never had a summer budget of €100 million before sales.
At the start of the summer transfer window, there were some reports that Inter could spend as much as €100 million. That would be before any sales.
However, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the actual plan was to invest €60 million before sales. Then, outgoings could bolster the budget for further signings.
Inter Milan Can Spend €20M More This Summer

Inter have made four signings so far this summer.
The likes of Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Andy Diouf have reportedly cost a total of around €85 million.
According to the Corriere, meanwhile, owners Oaktree Capital have given license to Inter to spend around €60 million before sales.
Then, Inter have sold players like Kristjan Asllani, Sebastiano Esposito, and Filip Stankovic.
Therefore, the Corriere report, Inter can spend around €20 million more this summer if they wish to.
what a joke of a club we are…
I still feel our transfer was pretty shit. From the 85mil we spent, only susic is a good starter and Bonny is a good sub. Diouf and Henrique are bench players that wont help the team straight away. We need another starting caliber player in defence.
Exactly what I’ve been saying, we’ve wasted 85m and got absolutely nothing – other than sucic who appears to be a little gem the rest are arguably no better than what we had anyway. We’ve let average players leave for nothing and bought in similarly average players
Very uninspiring and somewhat worrying mercato.
Diouf is a panic buy and looks to be even worse than asllani at most things except running around a lot
Just look at Diouf’s scouting reports. They highlight that he has a bad decision-making with passing. He is like Milan’a Yunus Musah: runs a lot, physically strong, low tactical intelligence. Henrique does not know how to make crosses and has issues with decision-making. They are mid-table players; they were bought for being cheap.
And yeah, indeed it has become clear that the summer budget was not 100 mln net.
