Ranocchia: “We were scared of losing”

Andrea Ranocchia was interviewed by Inter Channel after the disappointing loss against Milan at the San Siro.

“They were good during the different episodes of the match, it was a poor derby and was surely decided by one single episode, which unfortunately, put a smile on their faces. We are still ahead of them and we have to remain there. We tried to equalize but going behind in a derby away from home created a tricky atmosphere and we weren’t able to react. But, as I’ve said, we’re ahead, and now we need to work to beat Lazio and Chievo, we want 6 points in these two matches.”

“We were disappointed in the dressing room, that’s always the case for everyone when you lose the derby. It’s grim for all Inter fans. What we have to our advantage is our position in the league table. We want to reach our goal. It was a tight match like the first one this season. It was a very poor match. That day the moment went our way, tonight it went for them. They hit the bar through Kakà but apart from that it was a bad game.”
