Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly keen to tie star playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu down to a new long-term deal.
According to Il Giorno via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could offer the 31-year-old fresh terms at the end of the season.
Calhanoglu’s current contract runs out in 2027.
Furthermore, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have been hot on his trail since last summer, keeping close tabs on his situation at San Siro.
Despite boasting a genuine interest in the skilled midfielder, both Istanbul clubs failed to match Inter’s €35 million asking price.
Inter Milan Looking to Renew Hakan Calhanoglu Contract

Hakan Calhanoglu has been essential to Cristian Chivu’s setup this season.
Indeed, the former AC Milan star netted seven goals and added three assists across 18 competitive appearances.
Therefore, Inter are reluctant to sever ties with Calhanoglu.
Instead, they’re looking to offer him a contract renewal, looking to secure his services until 2028.
However, the parties won’t meet before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are continuing to monitor all developments regarding Calhanoglu’s status in Milan.
