During the transmission of the show ‘Notti Mondiali’ on RAI Sport, an interesting revelation was made.
According to RAI, someone from the FIGC had contacted Walter Mazzarri and offered him the vacant position as the new head-coach of Italy, prior to Mazzarri agreeing terms with Inter. RAI reports further that Mazzarri immediately turned down the offer and expressed his willingness to stay on and extend his contract with Inter and continue the work that started last season.

The Italy job would suit him cos he’s famous for being a coach who’s best coaching Italian speakers. On the other hand I suspect he felt inters youth is brighter than Italy’s.
you suspect wrong…….Prandelli was only making 1.2 mill a year……..do you really think mazzarri of going to take a 50 % paycut to coach the Azzurri when he’s got a gravy train of a contract with Inter ?? I don’t think so……
I believe that Allegri will be the new coach of the Azzurri only because only he would be willing to take the paycut required to coach the Italian National Team. Other option is Guidolin but I don’t think he can handle the stress of the job.
I think that if we put our faith in Mazzarri the team will achieve some big things before our eyes. Inter are no longer a sinking or rocking ship. We have stable ownership and management who are employing a stable structure from the top down throughout the whole roster. I trust Mazzarri to lead Inter to great things in coming seasons with players who are Inter calibre and have a winning mentality. Branca is gone, our revolving door of coaches is over, shit players have been shown the door, and ownership who spent money foolishly while accumulating massive debt is replaced with a modern-day business man who dreams big but in a smart and sustainable way. If I could buy stock in this team I would because we’ve been down for a few years following the treble but we are strongly trending upward. The pieces are coming together to position Inter to come alive next season in a way that we’ve all come to expect from the best football team in the world!!! forza inter!!! can’t wait to see them play Manchester United in Washington DC on July 29th!!!!!
It’s not us who dont believe in inter players. It’s mazzari himself that made inter performance very poor. There are some shitty players, although the team isnt good enough for scudetto,at there are never give-up spirits on the field, something that mazzari cant explore and never shown after inter 2010
you probably need a reality check then if you just wanna blame mazzarri for inters problems. Since winning the treble Inter have had old players who despite their glorious past showed their age and decline as well as FAR too many players who simply suck. Silvestre, pereira, kuzmanovic, jonathan has become our starter (god bless him). Guys like mariga, and mudingayi who just take up space on our team. Look at Juve…For midfielders they have Pirlo, Asamoah, Marchisio, Vidal, Isla, Pepe, Padoin, For strikers they had Osvaldo, Giovinco,Tevez, Llorrente, Quagliarella,Vucinic. My point is they have incredible depth with capable players. God forbid if Icardi and Palacio go down who comes on….Nagatomo is our next main goal threat! AGAIN JONATHAN is a starter!!! Our starting lineup this past year was at least what i would call strong compared to other teams in Serie A but where is the depth??? We simply haven’t had a team built to compete with Juve, Roma, Napoli, and Fiorentina. That’s not Mazzarri’s fault and shit it wasn’t Stramaccioni’s fault either! To simply blame Mazzarri for the whole team’s problem is ludicrous. Inter have been in desperately need for rejouvanation. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to a lot of our heroes but that had to happen. We are pumping fresh blood into the team…Juan, Kovacic, Icardi, M’vila, D’ambrosio added to Handanovic, Palacio, Hernanes, Vidic, Rolando, Ranocchia, Ricky, Guarin. Maybe we lose Guaro or ricky but I bet we pick up great players who can come in and have an immediate impact like Cerci…Thohir won’t buy anyone who doesn’t fit Inter’s calibre or needs. Young, talented and ready to play to give inter the depth that it so desperately needs…
So who do you blame for the following:
Inter registered no shots in a game for the first time in 10 years against AC Milan coached by Seedorf…..ugh
Inter did not win 3 games in a row for the first time in over 10 years
Inter had a 0 % pk conversion – ok fine, they only had 1 penalty shot awarded but that’s proof that Inter does not play in the 18 yard box enough and rely too heavily on wingers
Inter made only 2 points in 5 games in January
Inter’s leading goal scorer in January was Rolando
Inter had the second worst free kick coversion in Serie A – the only team that was worse was Chievo.
On a 4 game streak with Atalanta-udinese-livorno-bologna (generally weat teams) Inter only managed 3 points
Belfodil flopped unter Mazzarri
Now after reading all that, do you blame the team or the coach and his tactics? personally I blame the coach because if Strama had this same team healthy he would have been capable of more than Mazzarri.
What do you want creeping around you dirty worm? Huh? Just get the hell out of here
Ahh you’ve missed a stepped up on your career sir, not like we’re gonna missed you when you left though. LoL
Go please go!!
