While talking to “Canale 21”, Andrea Carnevale reflected on the growing list of suitors for Udinese midfielder Allan. The Brazilian midfielder is a pillar of Andrea Stramaccioni’s team and his excellent displays on the pitch have forced his cost upwards. Carnevale expressed that he believes Allan is currently ready to jump into a team at the highest level and should cost at least 20M if a club were to want to take him from Udinese.

This is the problem I have with Serie A teams – suddenly one loney tune thinks Allan costs more than Brozovic. Serie A players are stupidly expensive even if they are only a little talented. It’s a joke really!
Crazy Zamparini thinks Dybala costs 40 mil, Napoli was going to sell us their DF for 9 mil (he was eventually sold to the Bundesliga for less than 2 mil in the same transfer window).
Befoldil was going to cost us 20 mil (we paid around 10 mil for his 50% rights) and we all know what happened with the player – he didn’t even score a single goal. Taider was going to cost us 15 mil (we paid 7.5 mil for his 50% rights) – right now he is playing for Sassuolo.
Matias Silvestre was forced sold to us for 8 mil (the same amount we paid for Brozovic) and along with Ranocchia, he proved to be the most useless defender to wear the Nero Azzurri jersey.
I can go on and on… It is high time we stopped signing over-rated and utterly useless players from this league where everyone & their cousin costs a lot.
I’d rather buy a strong CDM from another league (except from the BPL).
In an unrelated development, I’d prefer Kramaric from Leicester City (the probability that they will be relegated is pretty high) should we decide to cash in on Icardi, then get Gignac for free (alongside Konoplyanka, Yamolenko and Schar).
Medel plus 7-8 million should be OK. But I’m not sure that Udinese will want Medel instead cash.

None of Toure, Crisetig or Benassi is not defensive midfielder. Allan is very good defensive midfielder, he’s still young, have room for improvement and it’s on another level compared to only one defensive midfielder we have Medel.
