Fredy Guarin was understandably disappointed when he spoke to Inter Channel after the heavy defeat against Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa.
“The truth is that we’re very sorry for this defeat and to accept it because we gave a performance with a lot of personality and created a lot of chances. These are events that must be accepted, I’m certain it will all change.”
“Was I fouled before Eder scored the goal? The referee didn’t see it, I told him this after he’d given the free-kick to Sampdoria. But it’s not an excuse, we have to be strong mentally. There is no other way, we have to be a united squad and start from there. We have to start from within the group.”
