Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage that FC Barcelona’s Sporting Director Braida met with his Inter counterpart to enquire into the availability of Croatian playmaker Mateo Kovacic.
Di Marzio describes Barcelona’s interest as “nothing more than a simple expression of interest, at least for now.”
The Blaugrana aren’t allowed to sign players until Janaury 2016 and are merely looking for the future, a future which could include Mateo Kovacic.
I’d sell Kova’s first option to Barca for 10-15 mil XD They can buy him in 3 year for another 70.
Kova would destroy in la liga. He is the perfect player for the style of play in that league. i dont wanna see him go but thats more because i know his talent and potential. For his career i believe spain would be a great option for him. Forza Inter
i blame his decline on R.M tactical inefficiency. period. with W.M he has a role and was rocking the back of the net.

No way! What Barca can see in a kid who was benched, because almighty Mister Mancini think that he’s useless! They, Liverpool and other big clubs must be blind, whey they are ready for 20+ million offers!
for a plus 30 mil price “the headless chicken” should be sold. He doesn’t have a position in the team because he sucks both as a att mid and as a central mid, and did so both when we had Mazza as a coach and now. We don’t need a talent who is confused on the pitch but strong players that can get this great club back to the top again!

I’m just wondering why one of the best clubs in the world, doesn’t showing interest in Guarin, who’s not “headless chicken”, not confused on the pitch and is always starter? But in a bench warmer, who “sucks”? This looks like Coutinho 2, who probably according some people sucks too!

not every player is meant to play for us ( and for a big club, and yes Inter is a bigger club than Liverpool with more pressur more titles etc). And yes coutinho sucked playing for us – true and was sold be ause of that. Kova is a talent but so is Icardi who has scored 18 goals and is our, by far, best striker!
Those who doesn’t bring anything to the team should be sold – Guarin aswell, eventhough he has played much better this year than kovacic, both in tearms of assists and scored goals!
Thank god you dont work for Inter. You probably would have sold Kova, Icardi, and even the San Siro by now.

in order to buy you need to selll – according to ffp, what’s why we are talking about selling kova in the first place!
we have to buy better players than the ones that are making us fight for 6-7 place year after year and therefor we should look at offers for those not contributing to the team NOW!
I would never sell Icardi – he is doing a great job, scoring goals and is still very young!
The San siro is not yours to sell – but if it was selling the name like the clubs in Europe has done and like Juve has done would be fine with me!
I;m with casperv..we have to sell him….. ..veratti is like the same size and is a monster in midfield.
Kova used to play in Veratti role. you think if Veratti arrives and slot in where Kova play now would make any difference? hardly.
the differense is that Veratti has great vision and great long-passing skills- Kova hasn’t. Kova is a much better dribler and faster running with the ball than Veratti, but that hardly is suitable for a regista? These attributes are more suitable for an att mid or a winger, but both mazza and mancini have tryed him out in the att mid, and he sucked there, maybe we should try him as a winger in a 4-2-3-1.
veratti is a great talent true, but look at our new boy Asene Boukouri ( or what he’s name is), he is 18 year old and seems like a much more “ready” midfielder than Kovacic is now after his 2 1/2 years at the club.
What I’m saying is that the club needs cash for it’s revolution this summer because we can’t keep on fighting for 5. or 6. place in the league and therefore selling the players who are not brinning anything to the team is a must!
maybe Kova will be monster in 3-4 years time but I want my beloved team back on the top NOW!

even if kova is talented, he is already fair share of time in inter. 2,5 years is a time when you can show your potensial and make an impact.
look at our 18 years gnoukori (i already remember his name..LOL), he is young, cold, and very talented player that already make an impact.

IMO i will judge his skill when he reach 23 or 24 years old..:) right now he needs the best guidance or sample in midfield that we already know, we lack this typical player

i like Kovacic, therefore i say; it’s better for his career to leave. he would fit in Barcelona’s game plan, while mr. x couldn’t even figure out his position for 4-5 months
