The online edition of the British paper, Daily Mail has reported, that Steven N’Zonzi officially leaves Stoke City for Sevilla and this could be the first step to get Xherdan Shaqiri to Britannia Stadium.
At least this is the way that the club “congratulate” themselves after reached an agreement with Inter with a base formula 0f 17 million Euros to secure the deal, now the would like to finalize the contract with him the next couple of days.

Chill inter crew construtive criticism only . All points taken I to would love to see him stay and become great with us because he will however it’s up to the coach and I have faith in him . To be honest I saw a different style of play from our team and with the “upgrades” we should and will do much better this coming season. That being said we are definitely short upfront and selling him and bring in two players we’d still be short . I say keep him plus the add ons and sell those who we all know should be sold which will inquire a loos but the money from the sale and salaries would make some difference . Then put out all in reaching the champions league
Well, if he leaves, I think Salah-Perisic-Jojo are coming in
Shaq will stay, just chill. Mancio wanted him in January, and he wants 4 wingers for next season – given that he will play either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. Im sure Shaq will stay and rumours will keep floading until 1st september, just like always. I might be wrong, but I remember one or two weeks ago when Imbula was “official”, Salah is “close”, Handanovic was leaving and Kovacic signed with Liverpool. It´s the mercato mates, anything or nothing might happen. Just chill, and let´s see what happens – Forza Inter!
Not fair to sell him after half season, but one think that I find many interista mad about is the price. sell him less than 25 m for me is a insult. After all we sell to BPL team
#SaveShaqiri
selling Shaq for 15-17m and buying Perisic for 20+… Branca, is that you?
Just salahhh..
Are these guys still trying? Didn’t he already tell them to kindly screw off. Give up already…
Mancini is insane, He brought Shaqiri with a high expecations and play him in few games which he did not really under perform; and at the end of the season Mancini is trying to get rid of him. what is the logic behind this crappy attitude ?
Mancini is just disgrace for Inter.Such a pathetic coach without vision and style.I still don’t understand how he convince players like Condogbia,Shaqiri and Miranda to join us after we don’t play in Europe.
Because you are an ignorant hater and Mancini is a good coach and you do.not.know.shit. so go spew you nonsense somewhere else. Mancini will be our coach for year so are you just going to keep up your bullshit comments for that long? Yes we get it you hate Mancini. Now go away.
After we failed this season everyone will want sack Mancioshit!
Not fail if keep Shaq? I don’t believe that!!!
Please take it easy dude. Why bad language to a fellow interisti? I agree with the kirilic dude. Mancio is a guy that only can handle a team with star material. Look at inter Milan when he had them. Perfect 11. Not mancio won the titles for us, Zlatan did. The same in man city. This dude is not a capable coach, imo. Why invest and then throw away. Shaqiri have not got a fair chanse. Give shaqiri this season also, if he embraces him self of course give him to stoke or hull or something else. This mancio is like a beginner playing fifa, buying without a plan. Only bye for the sake of it, for fun.
Pace my fellow interisti.
Sorry that guy gets on my nerves. Instead of a well constructed post like yours, he spews random insults and hate about the coach. Immature kid. But I agree Shaqiri should stay.
Same can be said with Mourinho then to be honest too. He always had the best team in the league (RM vs Barca can be debatable). A coach wants reassurance of having everything possible to increasing the chances of him succeeding and gaining/sustaining a world class reputation. It is like you working for the top companies in the world with having everything at your disposal, and producing great sales numbers. Does that mean you are not a capable worker just because you surrounded yourself with the best? I believe it is about synergy and luck – and Mancini is an excellent coach with some luck (just like Mourinho). My two cents.
What games have you been watching? The guy is one dimensional. This isnt fifa, shaq sucks. We are lucky we will prob make 2 mil on this deal… if we are going by fifa rating then lets keep vidic lol
no offense but shaqiri is way better than perisic and he will just increase the difference because he is younger…. selling shaq and buying with those money +more perisic is insane…perisic will cost around 20mln euro(wolfs are creedy skumpbags)…shaqiri cost us 15mln which are not paid yet , so basicly we just get more and more debt for the future!
No offense but being completely objective. Shaq has much lower football iq than perisic. Perisic can play multiple positions, is good with both feet, is much taller and his game doesnt rely only on pace. Shaq sucks, he only played well his first 3 games. Mancio realizes that serie A has figured fat shaq out… hence why he wants to offload him.
Having seen Shaqiri play at Basel, Bayern and the national team I just can agree with u. Shaqiri is always dangerous with the ball, he can pass and dribble well and his left foot is deadly. And he is not fat, just well trained. It will be a mistake if we let him go. Especially for a such low amount, I would understand if we sold him for +30M. About Perisic i dont know much, but saw him playing at the WC, and he was good there. So my wish would be to keep Shaqiri n bring Perisic in also. Cheers.
We don’t even give him proper chance, let him stay one more season please…
maybe shaqiri doesn’t fit mancini’s system?
He does fit in Mancini’s system. That’s why Mancini personally recruited him.
the same thing can be said about podolski right?!! the January window was bad in hindsight… only brozovic will stay from that transfer window.
And Santon
Well, i dont think is matter fit or not in Mancini system, my opinion is Mancini should give him proper chance before thinking about get rid of him, anyway it was Mancini who wants him back then.
what if he gives him a chance and he didn’t succeed ? are you wailing to risk another season just for the sake of giving players chances? the the pieces are together in defense and midifeld. plus there is a big financial issues that you seem to completely miss.
If he gives him a chance and he didn’t succeed, meaning time to get rid of him.
“are you wailing to risk another season just for the sake of giving players chances? “
“are you wailing to risk another season just for the sake of giving players chances? ” what are you talking about?
we going to have bad season if we keep shaqiri? really?
well if you are able to read. you should read my first comment that you completely ignored.
and this explains further
“that’s what reports say. mancini (at the brunico training) focused on a free flowing attack where wingers and strikers may switch positions and great simple one-two and underlapping runs.(like how man city play now) that’s why he prefers jovetic and perisic over shaqiri. who are we to judge mancini on not keeping a player if he doesn’t fit his system… we need to give the coach the players he wants and not pressure him on keeping someone he doesn’t want.” @jackabood:disqus
but there is no guarantee Perisic, Salah or Jovetic will work out any better than Shaq in his first 6 months…
if every player lived up to his ‘name’ and potential, the current squad could have finished in top4
Salah is far better than Shaq . Salah can prove himself in half season and Shaq can’t..
yes. but we brought shaqiri when he was a bench player. the January transfer window was a huge failure imo. all the players we brought are reportedly gonna be sold.
Shaq doesnt fit Serie A. Hes also only good when hes a big fish in a small pond… like poldi. The guy’s game is so one dimensional… from his dribling to his pisition to his dribling technique…
calm down this news is like kovacic news a few weeks ago , it’s all BS
I don’t see the point in selling one good promising winger to buy another one, we will still need one more. And if we decide to play 4-3-1-2 without wingers, then Jovetič is not good enough IMO, since we can’t rely on him because of his injuries.
maybe mancini wants a more flexible forward. shaqiri isn’t that for sure. jovetic and perisic really pretty good. a free flowing front three of
jovetic-icardi-perisic is deadly. lets be honest is shaqiri half as good on the left side as he is on the right side? the answer is no. perisic, jovetic are far more flexible than shaqiri. it’s not about how promising he is but if he is suitable for mancini’s system. mancini doesn’t think so.
Jovetic will free flow to an injury
it might be the training. we’ve seen gabriel paulista get injured in his first month at arsenal (his first injury in a few years) robben had the same problem. he was an injury prone. went to bayern and they knew how to deal with him. when jovetic is fit he’s class.
as the guy below said. robben is a prime example of injury-prone players that were dealt with correctly.
And why would you play him on the left? Salah rumours have cooled off so he would be our primary right winger, at which he is the best. Jovetič is far too injury prone. Good luck having a “flowing” winger on the stands because of the injury. And that leaves Perišić. Lets say we sell Shaqiri to get him. Back to step one to get another winger.
that’s what reports say. mancini (at the brunico training) focused on a free flowing attack where wingers and strikers may switch positions and great simple one-two and underlapping runs.(like how man city play now) that’s why he prefers jovetic and perisic over shaqiri. who are we to judge mancini on not keeping a player if he doesn’t fit his system…
Ofcourse, and I’m happy with either of these choices as all 3 players have quality. I trust Mancini enough to decide. But it’s still bad marketing, thats what I meant to say here.
they’re pushing Santon and Shaqiri up for sales, it only tells us how hard they’re trying to keep Kovacic. forza inter.
inter are pushing Santon and Shaqiri up for sales, it only tells us how hard they’re trying to keep Kovacic. Forza inter.
Have u seen him playing with Switzerland,Bayern, Bazel, he’s not a promising talent, he is a certified top player. That’s why all Inter fans were crazy when he came.
he’s a good player actually i never said he was bad. but does he fit mancini’s system? because mancini prefer perisic and jovetic over him.
Mancini have a system?Really. He and his football is chaos without vision and creativity.Shaq and Santon played well and he put in the bench both..
yeah. a system that won him the premier league….
He has many star players and BIG LUCK for this title, not good system and tactic..
ok. lets end it at that. this conversation is not going anywhere.
you want to keep Shaq I know, but he never played well since arrive.
He played very good, better than Palacio for sure and with Switzerland in two matches he scores 2 goals before one month ago.Maybe Mancini tactic is a shit and he can’t find the best position for Shaq..
you @zselic:disqus , @frigo:disqus , @mo:disqus always have the same negative opinions. i wish sempreinter bans you guys.
maybe where you are from freedom of speech is prohibited but last time i’ve checked we’re still free to express our thoughts and opinions, even if those differ from yours. that is what an internet forum is for
ur pushing an agenda.
Do you watch football friend? Santon was shaky and poor in defense… shaq was figured out by serie a tactitians after 3 games. I’m not like the others saying mancio is a legend or genius… but the guy does know how to bring us players and is no dummy. I respect him for his football iq… I will agree hes an average coach but at least he has a positive vision of football unlike our past of mazz and bebitez… and if we sell sell shaq and santon we can get jovetic who is a genius and perisic who is a complete player. They are vversatileplayers unlike shaq. For the record Guarin.. who gets all the hate… is a mu ch better player than shaq.
I agree with much of what you say. But Guarin better than Shaq? Hahahahaha. Maybe physically his potential is better but mentally he can’t keep it together enough to become a great, or even reliable, player.
Shaq is a good player but w low football iq. Hes certainly below jojos level. Jovetic is like a baggio, hes what we call a fuoriclasse. Jovetic just got battered jn england due to poor physios and a physical league.. baggio had many injuries and people wrote him off… then he bloomed again. Jovetic will no doubt be amazing if we manage to sign him.. I dont see shaq improving.. hes too limited… and he sucked w bayern hence why he was always benched… hes not a big team player.
Bcos Shaqiri name is not consist IC, we gonna have trio “IC” to compete with MSN
Promising winger? You mean salah or Shaq?
Shaq, I don’t see us having Salah?
im aware we need to raise money, but this is just plain stupid and not a way to behave towards a loyal and good player. keep him and just buy perisic. then sell all the shitty players we still have or can do without – Guarin and naga etc.
Guarin is better than Shaq mate.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion 🙂 . I just totally disagree on that one. Guran the bird slayer must go (if anyone wants him, which says it all).
I hate you Mancini!
Why can’t somebody from the management clear this whole topic once and for all?
Because they want to get rid of him. If they wanted to keep him they probably would have by now.
