Today is his 73rd birthday and the Inter family pay tribute who truly was, as President Moratti put it, “everything a man should be.”
Inter.it released the following statement: “Footballer, club official, president. A life spent honouring our colours.
And Giacinto Facchetti was far more than that. A model of moral integrity, honour and fair play. A national and international football legend. A symbol of Nerazzurri style, on and off the field.
A star that was born 73 years ago and continues to shine brightly today, high up in the Inter universe.

articles regarding older players are just not popular on here. it’s usually transfer articles.
well it’s not a question of popular or not, it’s about our club and it’s hero, if sempreinter decides to post only popular “news” what would it be other than inter version of g*al.com
they post content so they can views in turn gets them more revenue. if a page doesn’t get views there not going to waste their time posting it. of course i’m speaking generally. also they’re not going to write a article about facchetti if only 20-30 will are interested in it. people are more intrested about the transfer market.
