Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage how much Inter had to pay to finally get Wolfsburg to loosen their grip on the Croatian winger.
The Nerazzurri had to pay € 16 million plus another € 3 million in bonuses in order to land Perisic.

Now its up to mancini, as perisic fan boy, mancini has get this present from thohir.
Mancini should justify this hefty amount.
This guy even more expensive than mandzukic (croatia no 1 striker, treble winners) and spent 2/3 money that we get from our most precious assets, kovacic.
mancini now is your turn.
now let’s bring lamela with money that we want to pay for eder and siqueira
Mauro, Jojo, Perisic is enough as starter. Lamela, Ljajic would be good for squad depth, but it is miracle to happen. Lets see Manaj and Palacio as rotation / back up.
based on previous articles I was expecting 18mil plus bonuses… well done.. am impressed..
Less then Bertolacci and with more time to pay him…if one looks at it under that viewpoint..all of a sudden it becomes an amazingly good deal ,not just a “good deal”.
Ok..the “argumentum ad bertolaccium” it’s possibly too easy ,but let’s realistically compare it with other transfers.. like.. De Bruyne 70 mil. all at once?
That one also makes our deal look real good.
And I personally like Kovacic a lot..but it’s half the price tag for Kovacic who is still mostly a bench player for Croatia, while Perisic is a constant starting 11 in the same team..and..again with a lot more time to pay than Madrid.
Not bad.
Not too bad, anybody know what are the terms for the bonus payment? I’d guess number of appearances or us getting to a CL spot?
CL spot for sure
I don’t think anybody knows them yet,but just to make sure let’s hope we will pay those bonuses…

Under 20m is decent I guess, considering how hard Wolfsburg were resisting.
