Lorenzo Insigne’s agent, Antonio Ottaviano, spoke about Napoli’s chances of winning the Scudetto in an interview with Radio Crc.
“I don’t know if it’s a jinx or not, but Napoli is equipped to go all the way this season together with a few other teams. The team has given ample signs, there is a possibility of realizing the dream but it is to early to speak about it now.”
“The most reliable teams right now probably are Napoli and Roma, when it comes to Inter and Fiorentina could make up grounds but if we analyze the first part of the season I’d have to say that Napoli and Roma are ahead.”

He isn’t wrong… but we are well equipped to fight for top 3… if only mancini can grow some balls to play with a real formation
he actualy start to play with 4-2-3-1.. he try rotate brozo with guarin in the last match.. but guarin played like shit.. even naga better than him in that game.. and murillo red card are from a dive.. why he play naga and guarin!? he has to rotate the player, because we have to play 3 match in a week.. naga played a good game agains milan, so still acceptable for me to start him instead of montoya. the idea was used guarin and naga pace on the right, perisic and telles on the left, jojo and icardi in the middle. with medel and kondogbia protect our midfield area.. why not start with ljajic, first i think ljajic is sign for jojo subs, and if we put ljajic on the right, we will lose our balance in the right..
This is the only week where we played 2 matches and mancini has keeps using weird formations…
why not play 4-2-3-1 (handa-naga-murillo-miranda-telles-medel-kondogbia-peresic-jovetic-brozovic – Icardi) we could have won like that while we rest some players.
he played 4-2-3-1 with guarin in the place of brozo mate..^^.. but i don’t want to blame anybody for the result.. for me we win as a team, and we lose as a team.. the idea of playing guarin in brozo position because this guy has the abilty, but the problem with guarin is altough he has all the skill to win a game, but he has no brain.. when we counter attack he made a very good move, but ended with a wastefull shot.. he should have pass the ball.. that’s one of his big weaknesses.. and to be fair not just guarin.. icardi has a bad game too.. a true striker, had to know when to “dissapear” from the penalty box.. and rotate his position with jojo and perisic more.. why!? to confuse the opponent.. a predator don’t need to stay up front all the time.. he had to know when to “dissapear” from there.. because if a striker stay up front for 90m, it will be easy for opponent to block all the pass to him.. that’s why our midfield have difficulty to find him.. because icardi was to static with his movement.. mancini should teach him how to be true predator.. he should learn from player like militto, vierri, batistuta or even inzaghi to earn the skill.. if you don’t have the skill to dribble pass the difender, you have to learn how to make your self available without the ball… sorry mate, it’s too long.. that’s why i don’t like to talk about detail..TT
I understand icardi’s problem. What I don’t understand is why mancini would put players out of position… he had better options
and melo should have played (if he got a yellow he would be available for the roma game)
our problem is in striker and right midfield.. icardi need to upgrade his game.. in the right midfield i see brozo is more reasonable choice than ljajic if we want to keep our defense solid.. from what i see right now, mancini try to rebuild this team from defense, midfield, and than forward.. in defense we see a lot of improvement even player like naga and rano has improve(maybe because of the competition in the back). in midfield we improved in defensif side too, but in attacking we still lack of movement from the forward.. i agree with you the way mancini played the rotation was a bit weird.. i mean mello should played instead of k-dog.. but we don’t know the player condition in detail.. only a coach know why he choose k-dog and not mello.. ^^.. playing guarin in the right midfield on paper is a good move, because he has the pace and the cross that can causing some havoc in the opponent left side. but in reality it’s turn out ugly mate.. we know what happen..TT
Napoli are great. they just need to fix the CB issue
