At the end of the Football Manager 2016 presentation, agent Federico Pastorello who represents Samir Handanovic and Yuto Nagatomo spoke about his players:
“For Samir the renewal is sure, we are just discussing the last details. There will not be any problems, the will of the two parties have to coincide, Inter and Samir want to continue together. He has an expiring contract, a revolution was underway but he was never on the market. An offer would have been evaluated but he did not want another Italian club, no need to be hypocrites in this line of work. We have begun discussing the renewal, as soon as it has been defined it will be communicated by the club.”
As for Nagatome he adds:
“There were many fullbacks at Inter, nobody was sure to stay and they were open to listening to offers. Offers did arrive but Inter decided to turn them down. His contract is expiring but you cannot exclude a renewal. We are not against a discussion. He would like to stay in Italy.”
