Inter’s Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has been rumored to be on his way out from Inter despite the fact that Roberto Mancini has on severeal occasions said that the Nerazzurri want to keep him. Corriere dello Sport spoke to his agent, Miroslav Bicanic about the matter: “Brozovic belongs to the newest group of top players on the market. His potential is very high and he’s improving all the time. The hope is that he continues like this and that in 2016 he gives some great performances and scores many goals.”
Now Mancini considers him to be a starter, and Marcelo seems much happier than before. Will he stay with Inter until the end of the season?
“This depends on the market and the interest shown from the clubs. In the end, Inter descides his future. Marcelo is concentrated on his season with Inter and thinks about winning the next match.”
Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest in Brozovic. Have they contacted him directly?
“Last week I was in England but I promised to not name the clubs that are interested.”
Do you think Inter can win the Scudetto?
“This season they have a great possibility to do so. It’s not easy to say who winn fight for it but given the last few matches I’d say it’s between Inter, Napoli and Juventus.”
Do you think Inter will deprive themselves of Brozovic during this window in order to invest any funds acquired in the squad?
“This is a difficult question to reply to, I don’t work for the club. If Inter were to agree to a transfer I’d be the first to be informed.”
What do you think about Roberto Mancini?
“Who am I to judge one of the best Italian coaches in the world? I wish I had his CV [laughs].”
