In addition to battling Inter for the signatures of Gabriel Barbosa, Axel Witsel, and Gianmarco Ferrari, the Old Lady is also fighting Inter for the signature of Luiz Gustavo of Wolfsburg. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri had previously tried to take the Brazilian midfielder on loan but was rejected by the German club. Inter, on the other hand, as reported earlier, is offering 18 million euros plus bonus. Juventus, however, may have the upper hand in this chase since Wolfsburg is currently trying to sign Simone Zaza from the Turin-based club.

Gianluca Di Marzio also reported that while Juventus has not found an agreement with Zenit with regard to the transfer fee of Axel Witsel, the Turin-based club has found an agreement with the player.
