After a nail-biting match won thanks to two goals from Mauro Icardi, Inter coach Frank De Boer spoke to Sky Sport microphones to analyze the match against Pescara. “It was important to win and take the points. We are improving game after game. We are creating lots of chances. There is only two things that worries me. Why we need at least 10 clear chances before we score a goal and why the opponents only need 1 or 2 to score against us. How many chances did we miss today really?? Palacio’s was the worst. We are not gonna create 10 clear chances against Juve that’s for sure.
Very bad luck with chances. The opponents score because our defence makes crucial mistakes and because we play with a high defensive line. The tactic of De Boer works well if the team is able to score a lot of goals.
Clearly, the LB and RB (Santon and D’Ambrosio) of inter are the weakest links.
I dont understand how that guy D’Ambrosio can play 90 minutes every game. He sucks in attacking, he cant deliver one good cross, his passing accuracy is below 10% and his defending is horrible. Am really shocked how he can be first choice in a club who is spending over €100m in the market and wants to reach the CL.
I agree. He plays because we have no other choice. Nagatomo is even worse. Santon can be replaced by Ansaldi which is I think a very good Player. I think that De Boer will buy a Replacement for D’Ambrosio in january.
Sadly nagatomo is better than dambro and santon. Our best fullback is ansaldi if he reproduces his form from last season. Santon surprised me today and did well on the attacking phase but he remains a liability in defense. The only reason dambro plays is because both naga and santon are more suspect than him defensively. Dambrosio often slows down the play, his only good output offensively is that he has a strong shot and sometimes chips in with a goal.
D’Ambrosio indeed slows the play down. Inter needs players with the caliber like Maicon in that position. D”Ambrosio is medicore in attack and defence.
