Suning are to invest €200,000 in to a multi purpose sports centre in Tolentino, one of the worst affected areas by the earthquake which left 5000 people homeless.
Inter vice president Javier Zanetti was in Tolentino today and met with the town Mayor Giuseppe Pezzanesi. Pezzanesi spoke to local media on Suning’s genirosity: “This is a gesture that will remain in history. Zanetti was a great athlete, but above all it is a great man. For us it is an honour to have him here because he is an example for all young people. In a community that still has five thousand people homeless, this is a gesture of absolute importance.”
