Luc Castaignos issued a statement to Sky Sport 24 in which he talked about his future and he is very outspoken:
“The situation is clear, I wanted to return to Feyenood on loan but Inter gave me an ultimatum: either being loaned in Italy or being sold. My answer was that I just wanted to play for Inter in Italy, I came to Italy to play for inter and not for any other team. Therefore, I must leave and Inter will help me with the transfer. I am very sorry that I cannot deny, but such is football. The decision is made by me and the club together. I am very sorry at not having been able to show my capabilities. “
When asked about staying at Inter Castaignos replied:
“Even if it were to happen it would only happen if Inter were to loan me elsewhere and that is not the case. Everyone make their choices, Inter theirs and I mine. I have to thank the fans for helping me during a difficult year, unfortunately football is like this. I’m sorry about not being able to help Feyenoord, but now I want to a big club.”
