Joel Obi spoke to a Nigerian radio station about his injury. The 22-year-old midfielder hopes to be back on the field soon.
– I’ll be back and I’m happy, now I want to get in shape as quickly as possible for both Inter and the national team of Nigeria, said Obi.
With just one month left to the African Cup the player hope to play for his native Nigeria.
– It’s still a month to go to the African Cup and I do not think i have problems to come back until then. I know I will be ready. I hope that with God’s help get back as soon as possible under ideal conditions, concluded the player.
