In an interview with Sky Sport Italia Alvaro Pereira talks about the team, his relationship with Zanetti, and what he would like to have in the new year.
– I feel good, and I’m feeling better match after match. I’m working on improving, to always do a bit more and make our fans happy. Are we stronger than Juventus? I worry about my own team, not the others. And if you ask me about the Scudetto then I can tell you that we’re working hard for this, the Europa League, for everything. Now Lazio are awaiting us and we have to think of each match as a final, says the player.
Regarding his strong friendship with Javier Zanetti, the midfielder said: – We’re always together. We live near each other and he’s been very important to me since I arrived in Milan. He tells me to make the most of everything I’m experiencing. Cavani? I spoke to him by phone after the game against Napoli. I can tell you he’s a great player, but an even greater person. What do I want for the new year? To win the Scudetto and achieve important goals.
Pereira concluded with a promise: – If we win I’ll cut it off the ponytail.
