Paolo Cannavaro was interviewed during the show Tiki Taka about his relation to Walter Mazzarri:
“Chewing the bottle? Mazzarri got the most out of me and many others at Napoli. I have seen him done even worse things so I wasn’t surprised when I saw him chew the bottle. At Napoli the thrown jacket worked out good, it was the best tactical move he would do”, the ex-Napoli defender says and laughs.
Cannavaro continues:
“I had a relation with him that was about more than football, then our ways split which often happens in football. All the “Mazzarian’s” away from Napoli? I don’t think it is due to tactical reasons, but because the club wants to create a new group. According to me it doesn’t have to do with the playing system either.”
