After the goalless draw against Napoli, Inter coach Walter Mazzarri gave his thoughts to Inter Channel. Here’s what he said: “When we don’t win, I’m never happy. We played a very good first half, but we made the mistake to not score. In the second half we played football that I didn’t like, we dropped too much, but the squad we faced were excellent and they decreased our force. The regret is that if we scored in the first half, as deserved, we probably would of won the game. In the second half, after the substitution of Icardi, we became more balanced and we had two chances on the left, even after we were lucky that Inler hit the post. Anyways the squad is growing, tonight we risked a lot, looking at the restarts from Napoli.”
Mazzarri was then asked about Andreolli’s performance: “He was very good, an exceptional man and professional.”
