Walter Mazzarri will today speak at his highly anticipated press conference, this morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport looks at the information he might share. Firstly, despite many difficulties the seasons target was achieved, Inter will return to European competition next season. Mazzarri will attempt to align the goals of the team and the club so that there is no confusion amongst fans, competitive yes but a scudetto challenge is a long way off. We will see if he addresses difficult issues such as the booing before Inter v Lazio and the reason for so many draws. He may also touch on mercato expectations, both the club and himself are clear. There is not a huge transfer fund and therefore putting aside the cost to replace Esteban Cambiasso, deals will be for those who have been cast aside by others. Inter will attempt to relaunch players who may have struggled elsewhere.
