The idea of bringing Stevan Jovetic to Inter can’t be completely ruled out according to Corriere della Sera. The Montenegrin international is not opposed to returning to Italy and does not enjoy the situation he currently finds himself in at City. With little space and no signs of the club believing in him long term he’d welcome a move away. The wages should not be a problem for Inter and the leap in quality with an attack of Palacio, Icardi and Jovetic is there for all to see. Now Inter must wait for City to decide if they will accept a loan proposal with the right to redeem the player or move forward with a sale of Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo. This would significantly reduce the likelihood of Jovetic’s departure.
