The Brazilian full-back has to skip the return game in Europa League against Stjarnan, since he got an inflammation after an overload during training at Appiano earlier today. The injury isn’t to serious but they want him to recover fully before entering the pitch, so his debut at San Siro has to wait. However Mazzarri is counting on him to the first league game against Torino on Sunday evening.
