ratings

Inter beat Crotone convincingly by 3-0 after Mauro Icardi gave a Man of The Match performance scoring a brace and setting up Ivan Perisic with a lovely assist for the first goal. The Nerazzurri dominated proceedings at the San Siro and this is illustrated by the ratings as well.

Samir Handanovic – 6: Had nothing to do today for long periods of time but was alert when called upon. Was able to finally keep a clean sheet at home.

Danilo D’Ambrosio – 6: Very active when going forward & looked as if he wanted to prove a point. Almost got on the score-sheet but was deemed offside.

Andrea Ranocchia – 6: On the pitch for 20 mins but managed to get booked for a silly foul, prevent a 1 on 1 with a great tackle & get injured before brought off.

Joao Miranda – 6,5: Leader & defensive backbone of this Inter. Leads by example, reads the game like no-one else & is tough & hard as nails.

Davide Santon – 5,5: Had a poor night. Invisible offensively & looked like an amateur when trying to dribble opposition. Looks out of form.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6: Interchanged with Joao Mario in the deeper defensive central midfield role today & did well there. Finishing & passing still wasteful.

Joao Mario – 5,5: Didn’t have the best of games today. Very wasteful finishing when arriving in good shooting positions & poor passing ruined his day.

Antonio Candreva – 6: His crossing is world class. Has a never say die attitude as he runs & runs & then runs some more. How about using him as a full-back?

Ever Banega – 6: Still hasn’t become the midfield maestro he was in Spain but shows glimpses of brilliance which show the quality he has in him.

Ivan Perisic – 6,5: Always beats his man when running shoulder to shoulder. Rarely misses a chance when he’s in position to finish. World class winger.

Mauro Icardi – 7: Touched the ball 18 times, 3 shots on goal, 2 goals & 1 assist. Has now equalled Ibrahimovic for number of Serie A goals for Inter: 57.

Jeison Murillo – 6: Came on in the 20th minute for the injured Ranocchia & gave a solid performance. Still makes simple mistakes but learns from Miranda.

Eder – 6.5: Is simply too good to be on the bench. It doesn’t matter if he’s played on a wing, second striker, striker etc he’s a class player.

Stevan Jovetic – : Was brought on in the 83rd minute when it was still 0-0. Didn’t play long enough to be able to be graded.

Stefano Vecchi – 7: His last match in charge of the big boys before going back to the Primavera. Made the right changes & presented a balanced formation.

Inter’s performance – 6,5: Stable, collected & cool performance by Inter who kept grinding Crotone down without panicking. Will get 2 weeks to work in peace.

Gianpaolo Calvarese – 6: Decent performance by the referee & his assistants who aside from missing a penalty for Inter when Perisic got punched did well.
