Speaking at a Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 event, Gabigol spoke on his career so far at Inter: “I arrived alone three months ago. I adapted to the city and the team. I am very happy at Inter. I hope to play more. I’m very happy, I know that I need to be patient. I train every day to improve and every day I feel more included. We saw in the last game, I got on the field and did well. The plan is to stay at Inter and explode like I did at Santos. I think so many people speak nonsense. It’s a different kind of football with great players. I’ve arrived very young, here are highly experienced players, who have played in Italy for a long time. I learned so much and I think it’s only a matter of time. No player has came and been an immediate starter. Italians are very different. There are great players, but none with a playing style like mine. The Italians do not usually start from afar. I have to get used to their style. I hope to return in January and do very well in the second half of the season.”
