Wagner Ribero, Gabriel Barbosa’s agent, has spoken in an interview after Barbosa’s first goal in a friendly tournament at Inter’s Marbella training ground:
“Inter never spoke to me about wanting to offload Gabriel,” he explained. “He has a contract with Inter until 2021. I will go to Milano on January 13th and talk to Inter about the situation. It should only go well because the kid is 20 years old. If anything, it’s an advantage, not a problem. He has strength and immense talent. Hopefully, 2017 is the year for him.”
