Pioli in conference: “Something was missing and that’s what makes a difference”

Inter coach Stefano Pioli analyses the defeat against Juventus: “A tough game, their goal was hard to concede and we missed our marking. There are some situations that we failed. ”

After Milan-Juventus you were a bit unsatisfied about getting Rizzoli? “He’s a great referee and it happens that they miss some calls. I think he made some bad calls.”

Is it harder to lose in this kind of way? “I’m satisfied, we have to realise that we are closing in on a team that is the strongest one in the league, but we have still a lot of things to improve. This is what is the difference from us and that’s what we have to improve.”

Two defeats in a row, does that have an impact on you? “It doesn’t have to be that way but we have to understand that the level of play is growing. ”

A game with a lot of thoughts about the decisions, are you bitter? ” It’s normal in a game like this. A lot of episodes you can discuss but with respect.”

What do you lack when it comes to deciding the game? “A lot of things, we need somewhat more of determination. We have learned a lot from our mistakes and I think we will continue to do this.”
