Sky understand Stefano Pioli will go back to a back four against Empoli after the three man defence experiment against Juventus last Sunday. Ansaldi will return at left back while Pioli will replace the missing Brozovic, Icardi and Perisic with Kondogbia, Palacio and Eder. Gabigol will not start and is believed to now be behind Pinamonti in the pecking order.
