Lassana Diarra and Olympique Marseille have officially decided to mutually part ways. The French club announced that the former Arsenal and Chelsea star has terminated his contract with Marseille amidst rumors circling that the Frenchman could be headed to China.
Diarra has repeatedly been contacted by Inter before and will now be looking for a new club.
Here is Marseille’s official statement: “Olympique Marseille and Lassana Diarra have resolved, by mutual consent, to end the player’s contract effective today. Lassana arrived on a free transfer in the 2015-2016 season and has spent a season and a half with our club.”
