Chinese investment in European football is certainly growing. Following the Suning Group’s purchase of Inter, it seems certain that there will be a Chinese takeover at AC Milan. “In Italy I do not think that people are aware of this country’s [China’s] prosperity. They have the resources to invest in Milan. A Chinese group already bought Inter, one of the biggest teams in the world. Now a group will purchase AC Milan, another Champions League winning club.”
