Inter great Diego Milito was interviewed on Rai show La Giostra del Gol and spoke about Inter’s current situation: “It is normal that the gap with the top teams is a bit wide, but I’m optimistic about Inter: it’s a young team that is growing. It is especially important to win games like that against Cagliari, because they are the ones that allow you to achieve certain targets. Then everyone would be keen to win the important matches against Juventus, Roma and AC Milan, but it is important to find a certain continuity of results to achieve the targets we all want.”
Milito also spoke on compatriot Mauro Icardi: “Mauro is proving to be a great striker, at 24 years old he is doing very well for a big team like Inter. I hope he will continue on this path because he’s a great striker. Certainly he can improve, he’s young but he is doing very well.”
