Marco Verratti‘s brother spoke to L’Equipe on his brothers future amid plenty of rumours: “I think if he could, Marco would remain at PSG for life. He is very in love with that city, his son was born there. Teammates change, but the team and the city remain. In Paris, Marco became a man. In my opinion, in Italy he would return only in the moment in which PSG decides he is no more useful. I hope he can end his career in Pescara, when he’ll be in his early thirties. Maybe before he can go to China for a year. I thought he would have went to Juventus because when we were young, when we were playing soccer in our room, our dream was Juventus. When he was 14, AC Milan wanted him, Marco decided not to go because he was too young. He would be sad, in case he played bad. Then a friend showed me a newspaper that said that Marco would go to Juve, but he had already signed at PSG. All done in a week. My mother was surprised by his choice of leaving Italy. I admit I was afraid that he regretted his choice. But it meant he was already very strong.”
