Asides from speaking on his future amid rumours he is to be sacked, Edgardo Bauza explained why he picks Ezequiel Lavezzi over Mauro Icardi to Olé: “Lavezzi can change a game in 30 minutes. He knows the national team, at the individual level he can punish opponents whether it be, [winning] a penalty or [scoring] a goal. Icardi? I have already spoken with Icardi, you know what I think of him. We spent time together but there was no way to call it. We had dinner and talked football for three hours. He seemed like a good person, he did not look bad. I do not have to call Icardi.”
