Inter and Newcastle United have reached an agreement to extend Valentino Lazaro’s loan deal until the end of the season according to a report from the online edition of British news outlet The Chronicle.

Lazaro joined the Magpies on a six month loan with option to buy back in the January transfer window from Inter and that loan was due to expire at the end of this month but following talks between the clubs, a short extension to the loan has been agreed.

The loan extension means the Austrian national team defender will be able to play for Newcastle throughout the month of July and up until August 1 if they are to make it all the way to the FA Cup final.

The report goes on to explain that Newcastle United are yet to make a decision with regard to signing him permanently but the player is being open minded and is keen to show the club what he can do in the coming months.
