After Novara Sporting Director Cristiano Giaretta was interviewed by TuttoMercatoWeb where he expressed the clubs desire to extend the loan contract with Bardi for another season, our partners at FcInterNews.it phoned up the players agent Vincenzo Rispoli to ask how things stand regarding the young goalkeepers future.
What’s your position on Novara’s request to pro-long the loan deal for another year?
“He has been very happy here in Piemonte this past year, Francesco wishes to thank Giaretta and his staff. If my client was named the best goalkeeper in the Serie B it was thanks to Novara. Having said this, his future will be decided by Inter.”
Have you already discussed this with Inter?
“No, not yet out of respect for Francesco. We will discuss this after his experience at the U-21 European Championship in Israel is over but we will discuss this as soon as possible.”
Can you reveal which teams are interested in him?
“Apart from Novara, Sampdoria are very interested. Also the newly promoted Sassuolo is another club that is very keen on him. However, I prefer not to name any more clubs, we will see what happens, what Inter decide to do.”
