Once again Mateo Kovacic is singled out by the Rome daily newspaper as the one untouchable player but Mauro Icardi’s availability could spark a bidding war. According to the article Atletico would be ready to offer €25 million, a figure that is not nearly enough to satisfy Inter. Arsenal are suggested as one possible destination which could send the bidding up in excess of €30 million. Inter are making enquiries with Bayern Munich to replace Icardi with Mario Mandzukic. Meanwhile the Alessio Cerci negotiations are separate from any sale of the Argentinian bomber.
