Lucas Biglia‘s contract renewal talks with Lazio have stalled over bonuses FCInterNews.it understand. The Argentine who has been linked with Inter is unhappy about the structure that they will be paid to him and as a result put talks on standby. Inter are keeping a close eye on developments and could soon lodge a bid if there is no movement.

I prefer Leandro Paredes. That’s the guy I want in this position.

Great regista, if he is younger i dont mind we splash a lot of money for him

Yes he turns 31 in January… but still Registas often plays they best football when getting a bit “old” and experienced – like Pirlo Xavi Alonso and Thiago Motto!

But biglia is often injured this season. If we want holding mid i would like us to buy someone like weigl dortmund or carvalho sporting. They alredy good and young and we wont look for another midfielder for many years

I don’t know the Dortmund dude but Carvalho is good, even though very expensive and has no experience from Italy which is so important! Biglia would be cheaper and be a player that would be ready to contribute right away!

I don’t mind that he is gonna be 31, but I do mind the amount that we are gonna pay for him. The rumoured 20-26 is way too much.

For example the players you mentioned were free or between 8-12M in transfer fees. And also all the players you mentioned were better than Biglia, when they did the transfers.

I think I’m not gonna be happy with any transfers until we get better fullbacks and a centreback.

We can clearly see that Pioli wants to play with a deaper midfielder(Kondogbia) behind a box-to-box player(Broso) and an attacking mid(Banega), and if so Biglia would be a great buy and a huge upgrade compared to Kondogbia whom I’m losing every belief in…
About the price; he´s contract is running nice and easy out (2018) so if the club wants some money for him they better sell up next summer! Another thing is; he signed his contract in 2013 (according to transfermarket) meaning he should be able to leave on the article 17 rule next summer for a small fee… Every reason to believe that Lazio should be interested in selling now! Besides, with Suning backing us, money don’t seem to be an issue anymore, and 20 mil for him would be fine I think!
