Luciano Spalletti is a demanding manager by nature and he just equalized his best start of the season with Inter (4 wins in a row with Zenit). As stated by Corriere Dello Sport this is not enough for him. Spalletti didn’t pay too much attention of the wins for Juventus and Napoli of yesterday but instead, he remained concentrated on his squad to prepare for tomorrow’s match against Bologna. Another win to achieve so he can arrive for the derby with full points.
With regard to success stories, Spalletti has surpassed himself in Serie A because his best winning streak was in the year 2007-2008 when he defeated Palermo, Siena, and Reggina before a draw against Juventus. Now Spalletti target is to beat Mancini’s record, which in the season 2015-2016 he stopped at five loosing against Fiorentina 4-1.
The best start for the Nerazzurri goes back to the year 1966-1967 with seven straight wins. If he wins all the games before the derby he equals this record.
