Former Inter and Juventus forward Alessandro Altobelli spoke to Corriere della Sera on why he feels there are so many goals scored nowadays: “There are two reasons, one being psychological and the other tactical. Strikers more than anyone else feel it, especially in modern football, for a media matter. Goals mean so much from new sponsors to more money.” Altobelli continued adding that, “Today all the great teams have good or very good wingers, Juventus have Juan Cuadrado, while Inter have Ivan Perisic.”
